Intentional
STORY shapes every frame. PHOTOGRAPHY that speakS TO YOU, and images that move people to feel and respond.
Inspired by street photography’s candor, and fashion’s cinematic/ dramatic edge, my work bridges authenticity and artistry.
I approach each session with intention: guiding my clients through thoughtful posing, expressive movement, and styling that reflects their individuality. With professional hair and makeup artistry included, every detail is curated to help you feel confident and seen.
My goal is to create imagery that feels elevated yet deeply personal. Where direction meets spontaneity, and every frame carries both polish and genuine emotion. Ultimately, I want each person who steps in front of my lens to not only see their beauty, but to recognize their own power in being seen.
FAQ - Why choose ME?
(Photoshoot FAQ
Below This Section)
Why hire a professional photographer, when I have an iPhone/Android?
I can’t lie - this IS a fair question. AI is only getting better and it’s forcing photographers, such as myself, to step up our game and experience for those who are interested in working with us. Cell phones have become portable computers/cameras/digital photo books that house the most intimate parts, moments, and situations of our lives.
So, you may be wondering, why do I need to hire YOU vs. saving the money and trusting my cousin to capture me, my family, my loved ones, that ceremony/birthday party, with their cell phone or point-and-shoot-camera?
My goal is simple: I don’t care to only provide you with pretty pictures. At this point, that’s too simple of an assignment.
Images tells stories, and stories are powerful. Any storyteller knows that it’s about the angles, the positioning, the energy, and the insight into a specific portrait shoot, boudoir session, wedding, and/or significant event.
Your cousin, or yourself, may very well be able to capture an event — anyone can. But are they asking themselves: Based on that discovery call, HOW do they want to be perceived in relation to that event, ceremony, or tailored portrait/boudoir session? When was the last time you stepped outside of your comfort zone, and dared to be visible? (I know, it’s not easy).
When was the last time you flipped through a physical photo book and smiled? When was the last time you remembered seeing images that told a story, one that you feel proud of yourself for sharing?
Photos are more than digital content to be easily consumed. They’re an art form that AI may attempt to replicate, but they’re missing the human touch, the intimate connection, the energy that a professional photographer that a machine simply can’t replicate.
Perfection is an aspiration, authenticity is human. Aside from using Photoshop, our goal is to have you transform in front of the lens, in a way that makes you feel brave, beautiful, and confident in your own skin.
If your iPhone/Android or AI can accomplish that, please let me know. :)
Why/When I need to hire a professional photographer?
A photographer, such as myself, is necessary when you’re attempting to capture a significant moment, milestone, ceremony, event, or to celebrate yourself and all of the substance the person you are today carries.
Who YOU are matters. YOUR story matters. YOUR self-perception is valuable, and worthy. YOU are deserving of being visible, seen, and celebrated.
Being visible, whether it’s at an event, your wedding day, a ceremony, a birthday party, or in a personal portrait/boudoir session is NEVER easy. It’s vulnerable, it’s personal, and it’s a significant investment. But your visibility only bothers those who aren’t capable of stepping into a “brave space” and trusting their character enough, to be documented and remembered.
So, I encourage everyone to stop being concerned with the opinions of others, and invest in themselves. Artwork impacts people, and I love to create artwork that resonates with people for years to come.
How do I choose a photographer to work with?
A great question, and I’m glad you asked.
Like many things in life, skill matters,
but so does personality.
Ask yourself:
Do you feel you can trust the photographer you’re considering? Do their style, energy, and workflow align with what you’re hoping to experience? Those answers matter just as much as the final photographs, especially when you’re investing in yourself or the people you love.
From a technical standpoint, I always recommend browsing the portfolios of photographers in your area (or those who regularly travel to you) and seeing whose work truly resonates. Pay attention to the consistency of their images, the feeling they create, and whether their artistic voice matches what you envision for your session.
Once you’ve narrowed your list, reach out to each photographer to talk through your ideas, both for the session and for the artwork you imagine displaying. These conversations are where you start to explore details like products (framed prints, canvases, metal artwork, fine-art finishes, and more), what each photographer’s process looks like, and how they guide you from consultation to final delivery.
You’ll also discuss pricing, how you’ll view your images, and what’s included in the final artwork: whether everything is fully retouched, delivered digitally, presented in person, or shared via an online gallery. By the time you’ve spoken with your top choices, you’ll have the insight you need to confidently choose the photographer who feels like the right fit for your portrait experience.
Whoever you select, I hope you’ll keep me in consideration. You can explore more about my process on the FAQ page, and if you’d like to talk through your vision directly, I’m always happy to schedule a personal consultation.
Why is a portrait session worth the investment in myself?
I don’t mean to answer your question with a question, but to add onto your point:
When was the last time you decided you were worth more than your responsibilities? When was the last time you thought about yourself, instead of making sure that everyone else around you is okay? When was the last time you stepped outside of auto pilot, and gave yourself the time to enjoy an experience that impacts you positively?
Being photographed is freeing. Being brave enough to be seen is freeing. Being documented offers proof of your existence, and for your future descendants if having children of your own is a part of your life’s plan.
What does being brave show the people closest to you? Does it inspire them, since you decided to take that chance on yourself? Does it resonate with them? Does it help you become a better woman/man/human being, and walk into rooms with more confidence?
Investing in yourself (yes, even when it feels like a “nonessential") is worth it.
Because if it helps you reconnect with who you are beneath the routines and responsibilities (and yes, the bills that always come first), then it’s not an indulgence. It’s nourishment.
So, I encourage people to embrace themselves. To show up as their truest selves. And to experience what it feels like to be empowered through being authentically seen.
Who do I work with, as a photographer?
While it's true that I primarily work with/capture women, that doesn't mean I don't also photograph men and/or gender neutral individuals. (Feel free to look at a couple of images featured below).
What does a portrait shoot do for ME?
The opportunity to step outside your comfort zone is also the opportunity to grow. To honor who you are today, while celebrating the person you’re becoming.
Your story holds substance, truth, resilience, and power. Even if it’s hard to see yourself in those words right now, my goal is to gently challenge the voice that says you’re anything less.
Choosing to do something for you—and choosing to love yourself, flaws and all—in a world that constantly questions that kind of self-acceptance is an act of courage. Others may disagree or misunderstand, but I’ll ask you this:
Is this about them… or about you?
There will always be someone who doubts you or projects their own perspective onto your journey. That’s human nature. But that’s also why bravery can feel risky at first—until it transforms into excitement, empowerment, and gratitude.
Gratitude for choosing to be seen. Gratitude for allowing yourself to be captured, acknowledged, and celebrated.
FAQ - Photoshoot
What do I wear for my photo shoot?
Wear something comfortable, and be prepared to have your choice of wardrobe selection available upon arrival!
We'll photograph you in 5-7 outfit choices, all provided as a part of your photoshoot. Each session is tailored to you, with wardrobe options that resonate to your personal taste and aesthetic.
What is an image selection appointment?
A concept I’ve learned from my photography mentor is this:
Image selection is sacred — and it’s meant to happen in person.
We’ll meet either the same day as your session or within the following week to choose the images that speak to you the most.
This selection appointment is where you’ll decide on the artwork that aligns with your artistic, personal, or professional goals. Meeting together allows me to continue providing high-quality service, guide you through the options, and ensure you’re choosing pieces that truly match your expectations.
My only goal during this follow-up session is simple:
to help you select and purchase the images you genuinely love.
How do I prepare for my photoshoot?
1. Drink plenty of water and other hydrating/nourishing liquids — Water is the most natural and unmatched version of skincare. It allows you to come in looking replenished, hydrated, and glowing. Green juices and other hydrating liquids are also welcome as a part of your pre-photoshoot prep.
2. Haircut/Color: I recommend scheduling any haircut/coloring sessions AT LEAST 1-2 weeks before your photo shoot. It allows your hair to settle into the new style/texture.
3. Nails: Go the nail salon for a mani-pedi. Your future images will thank you.
4. Waxing/Sugaring: 3-5 days prior to your shoot. Waxing/sugaring can aggravate the skin and there’s the possibility that red welts may appear in your images — no one wants that.
5. Tanning: While it’s entirely your decision; however, looking insanely orange before your shoot probably won’t be to your benefit. Tanning also tends to age the skin, and I’d prefer that you came in embracing your natural and beautiful complexion.
6. Go the Gym: Don’t go right before your session, it’ll make you feel rushed and probably sweaty from the shower you’ve taken afterwards. But I recommend taking the time to care for your physique before our shoot. I find that people who work out, even if it’s only for 10-15 minutes on the treadmill each day, have more confidence while posing.
So.... You shoot Boudoir?? Like nude??
Boudoir is an art form for anyone — woman, man, or non–gender-conforming individual — who wants to reconnect with and honor their body.
Whether you’re reclaiming your sense of self, celebrating a personal transformation, or creating something meaningful for a partner, boudoir is ultimately about falling more in love with who you are in your own skin.
It takes courage to step in front of a camera. It takes even more courage to do so with little-to-no clothing. My role is to guide you through that experience with confidence, intention, and care — so you feel fearless, supported, and empowered every step of the way.
I don’t view nudity as something perverted or shameful. As a woman, I approach boudoir through a female gaze—focused on empowerment, authenticity, and honoring your unique energy, whether that expresses itself as feminine, masculine, fluid, or something entirely your own.
I am grateful for the opportunity to help anyone step into that kind of strength and self-acceptance.
What is my cancellation policy?
Once your session is confirmed on the studio calendar, cancellations are permitted up to 14 days before your appointment. Cancellations within that 14-day window require a $500 rescheduling fee.
"Why a fee?"
Because once your time is reserved, that date is blocked off exclusively for you. Other clients are not booked during that day/window, and our styling team blocks their schedules in advance to prepare for your session. The fee simply reflects the time and resources already committed on your behalf.
Obviously, true emergencies happen, and in certain circumstances we may choose to waive the fee at our discretion. However, having this policy in place helps prevent last-minute cancellations and ensures that every client receives the level of service and preparation expected from a luxury experience.
Do I keep all digital files, forever?
I love the artwork I capture, just as much as I love turning people into actual art work. However, I’m not capable of keeping every file from every single client. One month (30 days) after your image selection meeting, any un-purchased images are deleted from the archive.
Do I offer artwork? If so, what are my options? What if I only want digital images?
Digital copies of any product purchased included at high printable and web resolution.
Artwork featured as either large-scale, midscale, or small-scale print images (whether they’re 30x40, 16x24, or 5x7 in size) are available and can be directly ordered during your image selection meeting. There is also the option to have them delivered to your preferred address.
How much is it to be photographed by me?
Every session is completely customized, and each Experience includes professional hair & makeup, studio time, guided posing, and access to curated wardrobe options.
Clients simply choose the Experience tier that aligns with the number of final retouched images they’d like.
Most clients invest between $1,500–$6,500, depending on the artwork they choose to create and purchase, with packages reaching up to $6,500. You’re always welcome to upgrade after your session if you fall in love with more images than you initially planned. À la carte selections are available at $600 per image, whether you prefer digital files, fine-art prints, or both.
You only purchase the images you love, and your selected portraits can be delivered as high-resolution digital files, luxury prints, or fine-art pieces such as canvas, acrylic, or metal.
Do I photograph men?
Yes I do — please scroll below to see a couple of examples.
What is my turnaround time?
Once your images have been selected and paid for in full, digital files will be delivered within two weeks of your order being finalized.
Fine-art prints and artwork pieces follow a longer production timeline to ensure their quality. Depending on the season (especially during holidays, when vendor deadlines shift), artwork is typically delivered within 10–12 weeks from the completion of retouching and digital delivery.
Will I publish your photos on my website or in my marketing?
All clients are required to sign a portrait studio agreement prior to their session, outlining expectations, boundaries, and permissions (including any behind-the-scenes video capture).
Many clients prefer to keep their images completely private—especially for boudoir, intimate portraits, or sessions involving minors. I fully respect and honor those preferences.
During your image selection appointment, we’ll review your chosen portraits and discuss which, if any, you feel comfortable allowing me to share for marketing purposes. Your privacy is always prioritized, and no images are ever shared without your explicit permission.
How far in advance should I schedule my session?
Timing varies throughout the year, especially during peak seasons.
However, you can generally expect a minimum of 3 weeks between our initial discovery call and your actual photoshoot date.
